Senior Manager at Ayna.ai. The position is ideally based in San Jose CA or New York City, NY. Alternate locations maybe considered for ideal profiles. Senior Managers work in teams and directly with our clients. In this role you will have the opportunity to help the best organizations in the world solve some of their most difficult problems.

What You'll Do
As a Senior Manager you will have the responsibility for the delivery of consulting projects, leading project teams of 2-4 consultants to enable them to find the right approach, motivate them to deliver on time and to achieve long-term impact for our clients. You will drive majority of the project related client interactions – usually on site – ensuring a constructive collaboration with our clients.

You will make an important contribution to the analysis, design, and implementation of business performance approaches, developing tailor-made solutions and working closely with clients to ensure positive impact and sustainable results. Client project work typically includes gathering and analyzing information, formulating and testing hypotheses, and developing recommendations for presentation to client management. From there, you will implement those recommendations with client team members.

Responsibilities:

• Leading the day-to-day execution of consulting projects and ensuring successful delivery of client requirements within the scope of the engagement

• Owning the project planning and process management, and communicating progress to clients and Ayna leadership

• Driving development of the content, either directly or by providing guidance to the consulting team (for example, by sharing ideas, frameworks or providing input on research and analysis)

• Managing the client relationship on a day-to-day basis

• Managing project scope and maintaining an acceptable pace of work

• Actively managing multiple client and stakeholder relationship

• Leading senior client presentations and meetings

• Providing apprenticeship and coaching to associates and consultants to help develop their consulting skills, including sharing knowledge and experience, giving frequent feedback and creating opportunities for team members to learn and grow

• Contributing to the development of intellectual property within the Practice Area(s), including improving methodologies, tools, techniques and developing new ideas and approaches

Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s degree from a top-tier university with consistent outstanding academic record. Advanced degree or MBA is preferred 

• 3+ years of business management or consulting experience in a reputed company

• Proven record of high performance and substantial achievements in project leadership with proven results and significant client impact

• Deep expertise in industries such as industrials, manufacturing, energy, consumer, or PE

• Solid functional knowledge, including but not limited to strategy, business development, manufacturing, supply chain, product development, project management, marketing and sales, etc.

• Outstanding records of academic and managerial or professional achievement

• Exceptional analytical and quantitative problem solving skills

• Demonstrated leadership ability in a team environment

• Initiative taker, eager to break new ground, create opportunities for others

• Ability to work effectively with people at all levels in an organization

• Skills to communicate complex ideas effectively
