Intel is seeking highly qualified candidates to join our NEX Cloud Networking Group (NCNG) as a Senior Logic Design Engineer.

In this role, your daily agenda will be exciting. Regularly, it will include but not be limited to:

  • Performing logic design, Register Transfer Level (RTL) coding, and simulation to generate cell libraries, functional units, and subsystems for inclusion in full chip designs

  • Participating in the development of Architecture and Microarchitecture specifications for the Logic components

  • Providing IP integration support to SoC customers and represents RTL team

  • Having excellent analytical and problem-solving skills

 
THE IDEAL CANDIDATE:

  • Experience providing effective, hands-on, technical leadership in a results-oriented team environment.

  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.

  • Good collaboration skills to interface with architecture, design, and system validation stakeholders

 
QUALIFICATIONS:
 
You must possess the below minimum qualifications to be initially considered for this position. Preferred qualifications are in addition to the minimum requirements and are considered a plus factor in identifying top candidates.
 
EDUCATION REQUIREMENTS:

  • Bachelor's Degree in Electrical Engineering, Computer Science, Math, Physics, or in a similar field of study

 
MINIMUM REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS:

  • Bachelor's Degree in Electrical Engineering, Computer Science, Math, Physics, or in a similar field of study

  • 6+ years of experience in ASIC design

  • Experience with RTL logic design or pre-silicon verification using System Verilog (minimum 2+ years of hands-on logic design experience)

 
ADDITIONAL PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS: 

  • Post Graduate degree in Electrical Engineering, Computer Science, Math, Physics, or in a similar field of study

  • Experience working on networking devices i.e. (ethernet controller, switch or router chips)

  • Experience with ethernet technology
