What You’ll Be Doing:
Responsible for the design, implementation, and testing of the low-level C/C++ code
Work closely with the RDMA architecture team, design, validation, and software teams to provide the full system solution.
Interact with our customers to understand and satisfy their requirements.
System-level design and modeling, managing the firmware design environment- Interface definition and partition between software, firmware, and hardware.
Source code development, review, and maintenance- Unit and system level test and verification, triage, bug fixing at the IP level.
Technical skills to interface with architecture, design, and system validation stakeholders
Communication skills to report progress to management forums and document specifications.
Leadership skills including the skillfulness to organize and prioritize their work- Flexibility and adaptability in a fast-paced and dynamic environment
To be successful in this role, you'll need the following:
Bachelor's degree in Electrical or Computer Engineering, Computer Science, Math, Physics, or related field plus 6 years of industry work experience, or a
Master's degree in Electrical or Computer Engineering, Computer Science, Math, Physics, or related field plus 4 years of industry work experience, or a
Ph.D. in Electrical or Computer Engineering, Computer Science, Math, Physics, or related field plus 2 years of industry work experience.
6+ years of embedded firmware development expertise using C / C++.
5+ years of experience in low-level programming, operating systems, system architecture design, and hardware design.
5+ years of experience in debugging firmware and embedded hardware modules.
Experience in networking protocols (InfiniBand, TCP/IP, RDMA, or RoCE).
Experience in high-speed ASIC or SOC design and debug (Verilog, fsdb).
Experience in post-silicon debug- Experience in SOC emulation.
