What You’ll Be Doing:

  • Responsible for the design, implementation, and testing of the low-level C/C++ code

  • Work closely with the RDMA architecture team, design, validation, and software teams to provide the full system solution. 

  • Interact with our customers to understand and satisfy their requirements.

  • System-level design and modeling, managing the firmware design environment- Interface definition and partition between software, firmware, and hardware.

  • Source code development, review, and maintenance- Unit and system level test and verification, triage, bug fixing at the IP level.

  • Technical skills to interface with architecture, design, and system validation stakeholders

  • Communication skills to report progress to management forums and document specifications.

  • Leadership skills including the skillfulness to organize and prioritize their work- Flexibility and adaptability in a fast-paced and dynamic environment

To be successful in this role, you'll need the following:

  • Bachelor's degree in Electrical or Computer Engineering, Computer Science, Math, Physics, or related field plus 6 years of industry work experience, or a

  • Master's degree in Electrical or Computer Engineering, Computer Science, Math, Physics, or related field plus 4 years of industry work experience, or a

  • Ph.D. in Electrical or Computer Engineering, Computer Science, Math, Physics, or related field plus 2 years of industry work experience.

  • 6+ years of embedded firmware development expertise using C / C++.

  • 5+ years of experience in low-level programming, operating systems, system architecture design, and hardware design.

  • 5+ years of experience in debugging firmware and embedded hardware modules.

  • Experience in networking protocols (InfiniBand, TCP/IP, RDMA, or RoCE).

  • Experience in high-speed ASIC or SOC design and debug (Verilog, fsdb).

  • Experience in post-silicon debug- Experience in SOC emulation.
