As Content Manager, you will be at the forefront of our digital content strategy, responsible for crafting engaging and impactful content that resonates with our audience and entices them to “learn more”. About the Role
As Content Manager, your main objective will be to develop a forward-thinking content strategy and calendar while crafting and sourcing high-quality written and visual content, including blog posts, articles, videos, infographics, and more, to engage and provide value to our audience. This includes owning content initiatives across channels, including but not limited to emails, blogs, website copy, and publications while collaborating cross-functionally on a cohesive content strategy for social, paid media and sales collateral. You will have a direct impact on enlisting people to engage in a low sugar lifestyle, celebrate its benefits and join the pack.Your efforts will play a crucial role in establishing trust with our audience and creating brand advocates. By leveraging data-driven insights, you will update and enhance our strategies accordingly. This remote role reports to the Head of Marketing.
 
Ideal Candidate Profile

  • You are passionate about health, well-being and finding ways to optimize people's health.

  • You have extensive experience with creating and optimizing highly engaging content in the nutrition or wellness industry across multiple channels and formats

  • You believe in using data to deeply understand your target audiences, their stories, and what motivates and interests them

  • You believe that delivering value through content is key to building and retaining an engaged audience

  • Above-average familiarity with SEO best practices, including the ability to write and edit with SEO in mind

  • You have strong experience leveraging AI tools to augment your content creation strategy

  • You are excited to learn, push limits, and take personal ownership and initiative. You obsess over finding novel ways to hit goals—even when the conventional wisdom says differently.

Responsibilities

  • Content Strategy: Develop and execute a comprehensive content strategy that includes

    the identification and development of key content platforms that Munk Pack must own to be a leader of the low sugar lifestyle combating the health crisis caused by high sugar foods. Create content calendars, posting schedules, and thematic planning for various channels. Ensure consistent messaging and storytelling to maintain brand cohesion and identity.

  • Cross-Channel Content Creation: Independently craft and publish highly engaging content (e.g. blog posts, website copy, email campaigns, and other content) that provides value to our target audiences while establishing and nurturing credibility, trust, and a strong brand identity. Coordinate and own the relationships with external creators and thought leaders to source articles, e-books, photoshoots, video shoots, and graphic design projects to enhance our content portfolio.

  • Thought Leadership: Research and understand sugar related nutrition and health concepts and translate them into accessible and thought-provoking content that positions our company as an industry “low sugar” thought leader, showcasing Munk Pack’s expertise and authority.

    SEO Optimization: Utilize your SEO expertise to optimize content for search engines and increase organic visibility.

  • Trends and Innovations: Stay ahead of industry trends, algorithm changes, market insights and emerging technologies. Continuously seek opportunities for innovation and improvement in content strategy, storytelling techniques, and customer engagement

  • Team & Collaboration: Manage external content partners. Closely collaborate with Marketing, Sales, and Creative teams to efficiently traffic assets and rapidly provide feedback and report on creative performance, contributing to ongoing briefs/iterations. Work with outsourced vendors (e.g., Fiverr, Upwork) to fill in gaps and leverage your work.

  • Compliance and Ethical Standards: Ensure all content adheres to industry regulations, ethical standards, and legal requirements, further reinforcing our brand's commitment to credibility.

Requirements

  • Strategic and executional mindset; ability to switch from big picture thinking to tactical execution as needed

  • Proven experience in creating and editing high-quality written and visual content that engages, educates, entertains, and drives business results.

  • Exceptional written, verbal and visual communication skills with the ability to produce on-brand content assets that resonate with and build trust with the target audience across various channels

  • Creative & innovative thinking to bring forward bold ideas that will help drive brand storytelling.

  • Ability to analyze data and information based on buyer personas and create content strategies tailored for them

  • Strong understanding of content channels, algorithms, and trends, with a track record of growing traffic and engagement.

  • Proficiency in SEO, content management systems, and analytics tools.

  • Strong organizational skills, multitasking ability, and a track record of delivering quality

    work to meet frequent deadlines.

  • Excellent teamwork skills, ability to be flexible in response to changing priorities and

    needs, and proven ability to manage projects, work under pressure, and consistently

    meet deadlines.

  • Remote work capabilities and familiarity with video conferencing tools (we use Google

    Business, Slack, Zoom, Loom, and others).
