Summary:

As the Chief of Staff, you will report to the CEO and coordinate the product, operations, sales, technology, and BD work streams to ensure that the organization moves in rhythm and is able to report as a group to the board and investors

Key Competencies:

You will provide strategic support to the CEO and be able to perform the following:

  • Strategic Alignment: Ensure alignment between the CEO's vision and the objectives of different functions within the organization. This involves facilitating communication and collaboration across departments to support overarching goals.

  • Cross-Functional Coordination: Act as a bridge between different departments, facilitating information flow, and fostering collaboration on key initiatives. This may involve coordinating cross-functional teams for specific projects or strategic initiatives.

  • Organizational Strategy: Assist the CEO in developing and implementing organizational strategy, including long-term planning, goal-setting, and performance monitoring. This may involve conducting strategic analyses, identifying opportunities for growth, and driving strategic initiatives forward.

  • Board and Stakeholder Engagement: Support the CEO in engaging with the board of directors, investors, and other key stakeholders. This could involve preparing materials for board meetings, coordinating communication with external stakeholders, and representing the CEO in meetings or events as needed.

  • Performance Management: Oversee performance management processes within the organization, ensuring that key performance metrics are tracked and evaluated effectively. This may involve working with department heads to set goals, monitor progress, and address performance issues as they arise.

  • Change Management: Support the CEO in leading organizational change initiatives, including mergers and acquisitions, reorganizations, and other strategic changes. This could involve developing change management plans, communicating with employees, and facilitating transition processes.

  • Culture and Values: Help promote and reinforce the organization's culture and values throughout the company. This may involve organizing company-wide events, implementing employee recognition programs, and fostering a positive work environment.

  • Risk Management: Assist the CEO in identifying and mitigating risks to the organization, including regulatory compliance, cybersecurity threats, and other potential risks. This could involve developing risk management strategies, coordinating with legal and compliance teams, and ensuring that appropriate safeguards are in place.

  • Executive Team Leadership: Provide leadership and support to other members of the executive team, fostering collaboration and alignment on strategic priorities. This may involve coaching and mentoring senior leaders, facilitating executive team meetings, and promoting a culture of accountability and teamwork.
